Our 2017+ models are meticulously built with OEM procedures in mind. We remove the outer side and roof panels, which allows us to get behind them, weld the structural cab metal, and replace the outer side and roof panels with our custom composite parts.  This is the process used for our truck builds, as well as our cab kits! This process creates seamless fitment and is why our we offer our cab kits as a complete package.

You have most likely found that 2017-2025 model year builds are harder to find than prior years, and that is because up until 2017, the rear door could be used as the middle door. In 2017, Ford changed up the body style and the doors, and went to an all aluminum body. From there on out, the rear door could no longer serve as the middle door on a 6 door truck. This presented new challenges to builders that left them without a solid solution.

King Series Trucks are setting a new standard in the industry with their innovative approach to aluminum 6 door trucks. Instead of the practice of cutting doors and using body filler, King Series builders went the extra mile and developed a new, cutting-edge one-piece door. With seamless body lines and no body filler, this new door is strong and meets or exceeds OEM requirements. We saw this as an opportunity to establish a new standard in 6 door truck builds, so we took it yet another step further and built a one-piece roof. In 6 door trucks through model year 2016, two steel cabs have to be cut and welded together, with body filler used comestically on the roof. Now, with a King Series 6 door truck, all 2017-2025 models feature our new one piece roof. Our new roof has been put to the test, standing up to large objects being dropped on it with nothing more than a scratch!  With no seam and superb durability, our one-piece roof is an awesome feature on our trucks.
